Staff were all accommodating, friendly and professional. I was upgraded from a single economy to a double economy with a view of the Sea of Marmara at no extra cost. Breakfast included no hot items but had a variety of quality options including vegetarian-friendly food. I liked the location for being in the old Sultanahmet section, but in a less touristic neighborhood. Relatively close to a tram station.
all reviews » great location (you can do sightseeing in Sultanahmet area just by foot), quiet room, one of a few hotels in this area with a possibility to park your own car (the spot may be one block away, but under 24h watch), friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, very nice view from rooms on the sixth floor, plenty of good restaurants nearby, I strongly reccomend this hotel for anyone staying in Istanbul. Located in the heart of Istanbul. The proximity to major sights. The friendly manager Erkan, helped us to rent a car. The rabbit lives on 5th floor's general balcony. There is a beautiful view from room 506 of police department ;-) On the next street there are restaurants with loud music. Not far from the Marmara Sea. The eggplants were given in the breakfast. People from the staff were very kind and helpfull, always trying to tell us where to go,what to do and how to solve some particular situations. It's a quite nice hotel, with enough conditions for a shorter or even longer stay. I would definitely spend some days there if I ever come back to Istanbul, which I hope so. Beautiful view of the old church. A room 410 with a balcony. Free nuts with some water on arrival. Friendly staff. Manager Erkan excellent speaking English was our interpreter (from Turkish) when we were renting a car. Very helpful personnel, good lokation in very interesting district, close to main sightseeing objects (even by foot), near to tram and bus stops, clean room with new facilities. Mr Erkan is a very professional manager who has your interest at heart as a client. we liked the breackfast and the location, was worth of money. Thanks again and hope be back soon one day. Also, very flexible :) We arrived in the morning around 7:00 but they still considered our heavy luggage and let us check-in earlier. Not only about that, during our stay, they always served us in a fastest way, truly like it!. The hotel was really good located in the historical part of Istanbul. The majority of sights were quite nearby. Position , good internet. Friendly staff, location. friendly staff. I didn't mind, but some might not like: the hot water seemed to go out a couple times for very brief periods. Water pressure on top floor was occasionally a bit weak. The steepish, uphill walk to the tram/Grand Bazaar area. Remote control from the air conditioner did not work. There were cockroaches. The room had no balcony. Internet connection had some problems and there was only Internet at the reception area... However, I have been told that they will change it during this week. Balcony door did not close. If they could change their breakfast menu. As various other places I'd been, they don't have a plug that fits the iphone/ipad charger. small room. The location is great, near center. But, you need to walk after a slope, that may be a little bit tired to walk everyday...especially you have some elder family members. However, if you're young, then that's not a big deal! :). The service in the hotel was really poor: we did not get neither towels nor bed linen changed during our 5-day stay there (even after a few requests and leaving tip). Unfortunately we got an allergy to the bedclothes offered in the hotel (apparently because of some kind of washing powder they used). The furniture and window view was extremely poor. Small rooms and small elevator , poor air conditioning. Smelly bathroom, not very clean, parking is at a private parking few blocks away and car will be blocked for entire trip. was not clean, poor sound isolation, breakfast was ... (no comments).
