Before booking this hotel and having read some previous reviewers comments We were concerned that it would not be up to scratch. However It was decided to book anyway as the price for 10 nights was the equivalent of 1 night in some other hotels and if it was not good enough then We could book another hotel after a few nights stay and then move on. The Blue Stars proved to be quite adequate for our needs and so we stayed the 10 nights and had a wonderful time. For the price this hotel cannot be.
all reviews » Friendly family hotel, i travelled as single mother with my14 year old son. They picked us up at the airport, gave us nice meal upon arrival and everything we asked was done immediately..day or night it did not matter. Rooms were very clean, wifi is available in the rooms (free).fridge in the room to keep food and drinks cold (not forbidden as in other hotels). Airconditioning works perfect, compared to other hotels of this range...beach is a 5Min walk, i recommend nr 14 where you have nice mea. we have been travelling for over 6 months now and this was one of the best hotel that we stayed. The staff is so friendly that made us fell part of the family. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is about 5 minutes walking from a beautiful beach. The owner cooked us a delicious dinner every night for a small price. I definitely reccomend this hotel for everybody going to Antalya. It is your home away from home!. Economy, clean, friendly; this is how you can describe the hotel and the staffs. Kemal and Abdullah make you feel at home. They speak English fairly good, help you make your trip in a reasonable price. Abdullah is a friend, he is a real benefit for the hotel. And the owner, Ismail, is a serious honest man. Changes your money in a price cheaper than the bank! Trust them and enjoy your economy trip in Antalya. I really liked my economy type of room because there is amazing stained-glass window. It was clean, sound protection and cozy room with TV and conditioner. Staff is helpful and hotel location is nice: sea is 250 m from hotel and cıty bus routes is near. We were offered an upgrade to a bigger room for a small fee but didn't feel it was worth it as only marginally bigger. The main guys who speak English are very friendly and helpful- inquiring about buses for us and providing us with directions. The hotel is close to the beach but a fair distance to the old town though the bus is very direct. The staff was fanastic. The management was caring for the guests. It was not just a small hotel, but just like a kind of social institution. Guests are attended anytime when at the hotel. Very friendly staff,our room was ok for the price we paid (i am talking about size). Nice familly runed hotel, located in hotel resort not far away from the beach. The food is also not very good, you can instead try the restaurants nearby in which you can enjoy a real Turkish food with a bit more lire. (Mc donald and burger king are also so closed to). hotel didnot charge by our card they took cash and i thought they will take it from my account. Rooms small, but then we picked a very cheap room as we only stayed one night, we were offered a larger room when we booked in. No real criticism - did what it said on the tin. The breakfast could vary from day to day instead of always being the same. N/A. Poor breackfast. Breakfasts could be a tad better. Pool wasn't as inviting as the pictures. The lobby of the hotel has no television. Guests have no access to the local media. It is far away from old town, but we were by car and stayed only one night. Hotel is not appropriate for longer stay and breakfast was poor. The owner speaks only turkisch I think therefore he was a little bit suspicious his sun is tying to compensate it and he has a member hwo spaeks english. location from antalya center. The owner was rude and made up unnecessary rules of his own. Service at night was poor. And I would give 0/10 because of the male owner of blue stars hotel. Breakfast was poor... No fruits... They didn't cleaned the room. they ask you 5 euro extra for each night. breakfast is very bad and if you one minute late you have to pay 10 tcl. rooms are very small.. The owner was a rude grumpy guy who is really good at making new rules. Just for the behavior of the owner I wouldn't recommend you to stay at the hotel... period!!!.
