Was beautiful, lovely room comfy bed, double sinks in bathroom, rain shower, 2 pools both lovely, lovely bar beside pool open in evenings. Nice cool interior, v. relaxing. staff very friendly. 1 minute walk to beach. perfect place to stay. i would go back here. Tea making facility, free water every day. Hotel Staff was trying hard to make you feel at home. Great kitchen, superb food, nice selection of wines, not far from the beach, nice partnership with Diamond Beach Club. All in all, a place and hotel to return.
all reviews » near to beach, good service, good breakfast, we had surprise from hotel because we were on honeymoon. But you definately have to stay in new part of hotel, the old one is not so atractive (with smaller rooms). Manathai resort is a nice place, very family orientated. Have Wi-Fi and everything you might need during your stay. It's not very expensive and is quite comfortable. hotel rooms and facilities are excellent for comfort and cleanliness, the staff were very helpful. The location is excellent , less than 100m from the beach. Design of the hotel is a beautiful mix of modern and original Thai. Magical and romantic. The staff are so sweet and helpful. Love the very cool individual decor, made the place feel like a well designed boutique hotel. i had a double story suite, felt like i was at home. very nice and tranquil. Location was great. Cleanliness was okay but not what I would call top rated. Probably because of low season staff did not pay too much attention. There is 2 pools, but both of them quite small. Although the rooms have televisions, most of the tv channels are very poor reception with very snowy picture. A hotel of this standard should be able to sort this. The new rooms are amazing but the smaller ones in the older section are filled with mold and damp - my mother in law was stuck in one and I was horrified at the decrepit bathroom and moldy smell. They need to redo those bathrooms and get rid of the mold asap. Unacceptable. Sisiter! You really need to upgrade your CLEANING staff… mould may give a rustic effect on a 12th C stone temple… but not in the bathroom of a 5 star hotel…. And please air out your rooms in the low season…. Put some candles on the tables in the dining room in the evening. Small pools. The bed was too hard, the water in the shower had poor flow, the bathroom could do with a paint. 1. A lot of mosquitoes 2. The drainage system for the shower stall needs improvement. Literally standing in my own shower water halfway through. Nice room but no view. somebody stolen my ray ban, right there and then they failed to settled it even it's obviously seen in cctv.They just allowed to check out the culprit and finally they are luck of knowledge when it comes to this tip of situation. The cost doesn't represent the quality of the rooms, service or facilities.
