We have chosen Monaburi based on the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. The hotel is very nice and clean with lovely pool and fantastic garden. Rooms are spacious and decorated in nice modern style, we liked the comfortable and big bathroom. On arrival we have been upgraded to pool level room which was lovely. The owners Bob and Mona made our stay really nice. Bob runs scooter rental and you can have your own scooter for a day for only 250 baht but seeing the local drivers in action.

Good location near the main strip of rawai and the pier although very little noise can be heard from the road or bars. Very quiet and away from the busy road. We had a pool-facing room so didn't have to go through a foyer or reception. Staff were pleasant and surreptitious. Owners were friendly but respected our space. Clean throughout and nice breakfasts. Owners and staff were lovely - so helpful and attentive. The room was clean with simple, elegant decoration. The pool and gardens are beautiful. Excellent choice. Would stay again in a heartbeat!. Most everything, freshwater pool, quiet location, comfy bed, yet close to main drag and small bars, nightclub, also near enough to walk to the pier for the fresh cooked fish market. Nice and clean rooms, nice pool, friendly owners, small place with only 12 rooms, good value for money You need a motorbike to get arround but this can be arranged at the hotel. Friendly, laid back hotel set back off the main road. Everything you need if you're after a relaxing weekend. The beaches nearby are amazing. Excellent clean friendly. The rooms are extremely clean and nice. The pool is great also. The price is ok. Modern well kept hotel. No coffee or tea facilities in our room. Splendid curtains but without blackouts, eye covers needed for a sleep in. It might be because it was still low season but I would prefer to walk back past the bars in a group at night. No coffee or tea in rooom, breakfast not included in the price only found this out after I had booked room, in the past when I have booked a hotel in Thailand the breakfast was always included in the in the price for the room,. mosquitos in the room. The location is not the best, is not in the main street, and is near an irrigation canal full of frogs, hence, there are a lot of mosquitoes. I personally recomend not to go to Phuket, go directly to Krabi and you can find the same boat tours and a cheaper price. There was no sea view as advertised- this is mismarketing.
