Staff really nice,when I arrive at kaohsiung main station I don't know how to go to hotel I call to ask staff and I lost the way (taxi that I met at mrt will charge me $80 but I do no accept) but staff drive a bicycle to found us and when I ask staff about taxi she go to the road to pick me to taxi Hotel really near mrt just walk 3miniunt (when u out of mrt exit1 go to the left side it nearly 7-11).
all reviews » Great location just a few minutes from the Kaohsiung Main Station, very easy to find. Nicely decorated lobby, elevator and hallways. Pretty spacious room with simple but practical furnishing, especially considering the low price. The location is quite good for the HSR or the intercity buses. The staff spoke some English and were very friendly. The room was large and clean, with a fridge and air con. Great value. Cheerful staff (although no one I met spoke more than a few words of English). I would stay at the Hwa Hong Hotel again. Location (right next to the Main Train Station + buses to Taipei literally next to the doorstep) Staff Room (size, towels). Shower gave just very little hot water after a rather long wait, and since it's an open shower without any kind of cabin or curtain the whole bathroom including the toilet gets wet. They gave really small towels like the face-towels. Guess they might have forgot or something. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom gets stuffy over time. - No breakfast. Can be more secured as sometimes the reception desk has no one watching. Room is a bit small, but for the price you pay for, it's consider valuable. Air conditioning. No breakfast provided. No breakfast. It's a very old hotel (like 70s-80s hotel) with very simple facilities. Missing a included breakfast for this price. Front desk don't speak english. Why we've to leave the key at the counter when we are out. If they said they worried, then how abt us bcoz our belongings n things that we brought-its might be not cheap too! N the water dispenser at 1st flr n it's outside the hotel - why!!! Very inconvenience n at nite. Back frm 1week. The car park space too small. The picture was much nicer than the actually room itself. Our room was very old an ceiling very dirty. I did not want to touch anything in the bathroom.
