the good location of the hotel, near to the main rail station and very close to the city center. the hotel staff was very helpful and solved every problem efficiently, in addition they were very friendly. for the money we paid we got a nice, not big but very clean, comfortable and quiet room, dispite the fact that the hotel has its own club and is located in the middle of a night club area. we stayed in the hotel in october and it was cold, so we had to close the windows, i can imagine that in .
all reviews » The location is very good, not far away the main railway station. Bus number 31 goes with short intervals and the stops are very close. There are many shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The "red light district" of Zurich is peaceful and safe. The room was very clean. Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of bathroom and bedroom, it's own parking space, close to public transportation, close to most important touristic places. The convenient location near the train station, public bus stops and the city centr. The reasonable price. Clean and spacious single rooms. The location is really near from Central Station and the facilities to buy "cheaper" food are good (talking in terms of Zurich). Clean room with a modern bath. Close to train station and downtown. Although it clearly states its location as in the red light district, I did not realise Zurich had such a large red light area which was an eye opener for my eleven year old daughter!. Accommodation clean but very basic. 1) was waiting 30 min to check out - staff is just absent at morning time so if you're in a hurry for train/plane - can be a problem. 2) bathroom looked like from Soviet Union times (design) and is actually located in the corridor on the opposite side from the room itself 3) no hair drier. The shower was near the roof, that make difficult to take a shower. It was a big bathroom anyway, but with bad distribution. A little noisy that room but it was not a problem. Prostitutes were up and down the stairs all evening and generally hanging around so it's a bit crazy. It is what it is but definitely not suitable for families or couples/romance! Cheap perfume and cigarette smoke was always in the air! We stayed as it was the cheapest hotel in Zurich! Zurich has no soul, overpriced and no life. Won't be back to this city..ever!. Having a real 24h desk would be definitevely a plus. Is a little weird to have to look for an employee when you want to check out or give your key room. very noisy on weekends in the hotel and outside of hotel til the early hours of the morning. Shower/bath was cramped. Almost everything. The Hotel it's located where the nightclubs are. In the first floor are living girls who frequent the nightclubs, not nice for a travelling family. There is a Pub at the entrance..during the night there is to much noise and it's not a safety area, drunk people, prostitutes.. The price is little bit high for such hotel; brekfast is awfull; for 10 chf you can bay much better food in near by Coop minimarket; bathroom was not very good becouse you can't take a shower in standing position - only sitting. Noisy area. Did not sleep most the night the noise out side of people shouting and screaming, a lot of late night bars and clubs. Very noisy, unclean, small, no relaxing amenities in rooms, old and unrefurbished, broken louvres, in very bad location for a hotel, shower water very hot making it almost impossible to bath, no airconditioning... Get out!!. we got the room without tidy up. The location is terrible, female better don't been there alone.
