  The rooms are wonderfully furnished with a very simple and fresh style. everything is new and extremely clean and fresh. It has a swiss feel with a very modern twist. The bar at the lobby is very causy and friendly and lovely place to relax for a drink between outings or at night after a long day.   Very good hotel we couldnt believe it is just a 3 star. Our stay here was very good, rooms very nice, clean and modern, breakfast was good, we would definatly come back to this hotel.   This is by far in my opinion one of the greatest little places in Zermatt - a truly boutique, but still homely hotel. Owner Michele is very friendly and helpful and assisted us with all our arrangements during our stay - she even organized our walk with offering a backpack and shoes!   The decor may look old, but this place is a gem. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and the small kitchenette was probably the best equipped I have seen (even compared to some big apartments we have stayed in). We were lucky and had spectacular views of the Matterhorn from our balcony on both mornings, what a way to wake up. Friendly. The wine and drinks on the table when we arrived were are really nice touch. A real treat to stay at a place which "does what it says on the tin", clean, warm, within easy reach of town in a good location, great view of the Matterhorn and very good price. Not many frills, but, neat, clean and tidy and excellent for a family.
