  It was a great hotel, in a location close to the town [5 minutes walk]. It seems like the hotel is newly removated, so very clean, and modern. Much nicer than some other 4* more expensive hotels I have stayed in in Zermatt. About a ten minute walk to the gondola to the Matterhorn ski area (can change at Furi for the Gornegrat ski area too). Only slightly uphill (easy inclines) from local shops, restaraunts & ski hire, so overall, pretty conveniently placed. The breakfast was quite good and everyone including our picky eater was happy with the choices. It's on a quieter side street but still close to lifts, apreski, restaurants and shopping.

  The staff was amazing. They promptly picked us up at the train station upon our arrival. We stayed there for seven days and where continually impressed! We had a few restaurants we wanted to eat at, but left the rest up to their recommendations. They made lunch and dinner reservations for us and every one was excellent!
