The family receptionists! When we arrived dogged tired at 10pm, we were greeted warmly by the elder of the Stamatakis brothers and shown to our nice, comfortable and warm looking room. We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past. The room/apartment was large enough for a family of 5. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was lovely with big windows and a bit of a view. The hotel has a modern feel with a comfortable sitting area near the
reception area. A modern lift transported us to our spacious room. The
bathroom is clean and the shower is very modern. The bed and pillows are
exceptionally comfortable. Wide screen T.v with 3 English channels. The
subdued lighting in the room made reading a challenge.

Pretty well everything - One of the nicest small hotels we ever visited. Great staff, excellent and cosy restaurant/bar, and spaceous rooms/bathrooms. Vicinity to the railway-station with efficient connections to a whole range of hiking/skiing locations is a big asset. Great value for money, and the best choice to avoid an overpriced St Moritz.
