  There was obviously much thought put into the planning of the resort, for guests of all ages. It was very refreshing to have such a selection of amenities so close by. The quality of building materials was also a welcome change to other hotels!   I liked everything the guy that runs it and the place. The taxi from Chur cost me nearly as much as the hotel.(70 Swiss francs) The highlight the cable car down in the morning.(16 Swiss francs)

  - The staff is so friendly and helpful.   Superb find! The location is fantastic, at almost 2000m altitude it really is away from the busy streets! Great views over the other mountains, peaks,Valleys forests etc. The food was really top quality, everything homemade including the bread, which was just so tasty!! Directly on the ski piste and only a short walk to the mid station. Great and... what people say » friendly staff, very helpful in providing us with info/maps for hiking. Definitely a great place to stay if don't mind waking up to the sound of alp - Friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Quiet "off the beaten path" setting offers peace and quiet. Very nice balconies (main one at restaurant level and smaller balcony off of the upper floor) are very comfortable and both offer wonderful views. Daily homemade cakes and breads are outstanding. All food that can come from local farms does-- most notably the meat. Rustic chalet was once a schoolhouse, and to add to the feel of Switzerland, we were told cows were coming soon to graze nearby.
