The family receptionists! When we arrived dogged tired at 10pm, we were greeted warmly by the elder of the Stamatakis brothers and shown to our nice, comfortable and warm looking room. We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past. We had the family room 1 and it was large and comfortable with two bedroom areas and a lounge/tv room. Bathroom was a good size with a large shower.
The motel is quiet and peaceful with out road noise. Lockup bike room and access without stairs for luggage. Very happy and will stay there again.

We arrived on the Glacier Express from Zermatt and the hotel has a phone link at the station so we called for someone to collect us (6 people). A small bus came very quickly and took us to the hotel which is situated in the centre of town. By Swiss standards really good value for money. The room was of an average size with a brand new bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and very good and the dinner in the restaurant upon arrival was delicious. Full satisfaction. -
