  Its location is great, 1.5 km from Stein am Rhein. Most of all, it has lovely riverside walk that leads to Stein am Rhein (about 20-25 minutes) and fabulous view of the castle with the wine yard. A truly relaxing place to be and you can feel the serenity in its surrounding. The room is nice and spacious with sofa, very clean too. The hotel has only a few rooms but they are roomy, well appointed and very comfortable. We would stay there again - it's that good and it is well run. This is our 12th hotel on this trip and is the best we've stayed in so far.

  Excellent stay. Perfect for backpackers. I really enjoyed the meals at the restaurant (they serve fresh local game meet) and the owner was extremely nice, and made my short stay even better. [the guy from Israel] - Excellent accueil!

  We were in route between cities and honestly picked this location for the excellent value and proximity to St. Gallen. The staff was excellent, the rooms were great and we were well taken care of both that night and the next morning. If you're in the area, absolutely stay here. It's not fancy and it's not necessarily close to ... well .. anythi... what people say » ng, but it's a great value and you can't beat the personable service. - The location and scenery were beautiful, the owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely - lots of local produce. We were the only guests staying and had the pick of any of the rooms and so was extremely quiet. Our room was spacious but simply furnished. It totally suited our needs; relaxing and quiet with wonderful views.

  The double room was high class, bedrooms, bathroom, shower etc. Very welcoming staff/owners who kindly provided drying space for our very wet clothes. The breakfast was very good too. - Very nice unique place! I recommend this experience to everyone! The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice tasty breakfast. You should visit it!
