  This was a really "cool" hotel! My husband and I stayed with our 9 year old and 15 year old, and all of us loved it. The amenities were amazing - the pool was heated with relaxing music and modern lighting.   Staff was very friendly. It was extremely quiet at night and in the morning which was so appreciated. The beds were also very comfortable. - The hotel was just perfectly located in town, you are felt very welcome and food lovely.

  The best aspect of this hotel is that it is about 5 minutes walk to the gondola or a little more to the train station. It has an area for your skis and a warm room for your ski boots. The staff was very nice and the dinner we had there was very tastey. Breakfast was the usual European fair. It is about a 10 minute walk into town along a quiet path... what people say » . The beds are comfortable. - Excellent service, friendly staff and great food. Our stay at the hotel really was the icing on the cake for the entire stay in Engelberg! I've been going to different places in the alpes for six consecutive years now and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at (regardless of number of stars)!

  Location and ambience of hotel is wonderful. For the location this hotel is a great value. Staff at hotel was very friendly and helpful breakfast was good - The hotel in general, staff and position of hotel. Hve stayed here 5times in the past 4 months. Would not think of staying in any otherhotel in the area.
