Note: this is a Ibis hotel, not a luxury resort; if you know what to expect it is a comfortable, reasonably priced (for Switzerland!) hotel to stay for a couple of nights. The location is great, you can easily walk to the lake and historical city. Wi-fi is free and available in the rooms. Dogs are welcomed. For parking, you can buy a voucher valid for any public slot in the neighbouring streets. Breakfast was good.
all reviews » We're familiar with the "minimalist" Ibis hotels so we were surprised by the very nice Styles facility. And even more surprised that free WiFi and a very good breakfast were included. The room was large and included a much-appreciated couch. This is something brand-new for Accor and they deserve compliments for doing such an all around good job. The room is big enough, breakfast is nice,the coffe and drinking water service at the ground floor waiting lounge is really a brillian idea, staffs are friendly exspecially the housekeeping personal...my compliment to them!! Bravo!!will definitely recomand to my friends who wish to visit luzern..keep it up Ibis style Lucerne!!. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water.. Helpful staff. Large room. That we couldn't stay longer. No english channel on tv. none. No carpets on the floor in the hotel room. I'm not sure I like the new style. We stayed in Zurich and enjoyed the lobby and the comfort of the hotel lobby much more. I can't believe that the Style is a 3 star and the one in Zurich was only a 2 star. Parking could be difficult. Rooms are noisy and not very comfortable. No way to park the car near the hotel - no free parking available. Staff were kind of 'disinterested'. Restaurant was good for breakfast but very 'cafeteria-like' for dinner with not-too-good food. no air conditioning, parking in public area limited. Breakfast option could be varied, no change in any of the days. Also refill frequency very poor of empty containers. I just did not like the feel of the place.
