The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They were very responsive to our needs and much to our delight we were upgraded from the Guesthouse to the Hotel which had better facilities. - The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also.
- The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around.
- The room was clean.
- There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs.
- The staff were professional.

The hotel is a short walk from the station, the staff are very kind and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Although Hotel Marta is functional, plain and simple, everything is of high quality (beds, pristine bathrooms etc.). In the lobby there is a hotel computer and free tea available around the clock. The breakfast buffet does not have a wide choice but again the food is of high quality, plentiful and perfectly substantial and everything spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

This is a family hotel and they do their utmost to make you comfortable. It was a wonderful place to stay, very clean and quiet and central. I arrived at 9:30 AM from overseas and they allowed me to check into my room right away, which was a big help after a long trip. - Great location. The place was clean and quiet. The furnishings were spare, but serviceable. The staff at checkin was good. The area was a 'hip' part of town - near some good restaurants that were not too expensive. It was close to a tramline that got me downtown quickly. -
