Excellent location which would be extremely difficult to beat. Even staying in the old town (Citta Vecchia) of Locarno is not as convenient as Hotel Rio Garni.

Locarno is a fascinating place with lots of history, beautiful ocation on the lake, and fantastic views from the cable cars up the mountains and down centovalli.
