This place is absolutely top notch. It is very modern and absolutely gorgeous inside. Sitting on one side of the mountain, when the gondolas are running, all you need to do is hop on the Grindelwald gondola and make your way toward Wengen or wherever you desire to go. Trip into the valley of Lauterbrunnen/Schilthorn/etc. etc. is easy. Trip down into Interlaken for some shopping a cruise or even up to Lake Luzern or the other direction towards Thun, etc. etc. are all very close. We even saw L. all reviews »
We just came from Chalet Bargblick. We were completely satisfied. Appartment was very nice furnished, equipped (very nice kitchen, bathroom, fireplace....) and cleaned. View on Grindenwald and mountains was wonderfull. Cog railway to Kleine Scheidegg is just very closed to the house and the station is 5 min. walk down the hill. Marianna and Lorenz were quite kind and hospitable, children could go for milk to next cowshed, touched small cows and were quite happy. For us it was one of the best pr.
The room is bigger than most of my friend’s apartments it have bed room, living room (with fire place & TV) & big kitchen with dining table.
The Kitchen saved us a lot of money since it was nicer to have family dinner there then look for a restaurant
In addition there is small yard outside with B.B.Q.

The host Marianne and her husband is the nicest host I have ever met, they gave as a good feeling that we can ask for anything and .
This is just a fabulous place. We absolutely loved it. Marianne and Lorenz are great hosts, really helpful with very good English. They made our stay with lots of really good information just a fantastic experience. This place is also extremely well fitted out, great kitchen. Excellent internet. Has parking and it is quite possible to walk to train station and cable car. We are late 50's and it wasn't hard.

A large, new and modern apartment with great views. It's a 5 minute
walk down to Grund railway station which gives you access to the whole
local rail system. If you follow the owners directions you will have no
trouble finding the place. Some gps systems show the walking track as a
road which confuses the gps systems. Free parking and free wifi. We were
made to feel like one of the family.
Every thing was excellent and the apartment owner Mrs. Marian was very frindly and helpfull. She helped on reaching the location by sending email to me describing the way with diagram. Thanks Marian.
Everything is perfect. The house is equipped with a very nice kitchen and complete kitchenware. The house owner is very friendly. The owner is a farmer and produce very delicious cheese.
Amazing hospitality by the Bargblick family including marriane, peos & jasper. A well equiped and spacious chalet worth every penny that you pay for and at the laps of alps. Heaven.

The place is very hard to find make sure you get instructions (by mail or phone) and have their phone number so you can call them from the road in case you will not find it. GPS in not enough.

Need to take bus from station, and final bus is early.
Only improvement that could be made is the mattress. It is a bit old and my wife had a back pain after sleeping for a night. But still, it is a great place to stay for this value.
