We rode the train to the Zurich airport stop, then took the free hotel shuttle to the hotel and back again to the airport in the morning. Fyi, you need to reserve a spot on the early shuttle back to the airport. Clean, comfortable room with a good shower. Bar looked nice and had outdoor seating. Breakfast was okay.

  We used the Ibis Messe as our overnight spot before flying out of Zurcih the next morning. It was a perfect spot. The shuttle was easy to spot at the airport, the driver courteous. Can't say enough good things about the friendly, sociable staff. Hotel clean.  Breakfast buffet superb.  Location may appear to be remote and in an industrial area, but during our stay we did not notice that, using the exceptional public transport links to travel into central Zurich was very easy. The frequent bus 781 from stop Riedbach outside the hotel takes about 6 minutes to Oerlikon Bahbhof. Which is then just 6 minutes to Zurich HB by the many, even more frequent trains. Everyone was so helpful and understanding, I don't speak German (let alone Swiss German!), so they all spoke in very good English and were very nice and patient with my little 2-year-old son. I really recommend this hotel, it's great value for money - extremely clean and neat rooms with laminate/hardwood flooring which ensures cleanliness and no dust etc. beds and linens were fresh and clean. showers were very clean and not dirty or marked in any way which would make them uncomfortable to use.

  Staff and bed comfort - I travel with a car so usually I make sure to book a hotel outside the city , and the location for this hotel was very nice to me , it is located in quite area and just 15 min to Zurich downtown by car and you can use the train if you want , the station is just opposite the hotel ! - staff can speak English
