This is an excellent choice for the independent traveller wanting to get away from the noisy tourist hubs of the south coast, and is an ideal base from which to day-trip to Mount Tiede, or dip down to your favourite coastal surf/diving spots. The staff go out of their way to ensure you are happy and have everything you need, for example, I mentioned I prefer brown bread at breakfast and the next morning, there it was! The restaurant is great for lunch and dinner as the quality of the food is .
all reviews » I spend a short period with my couple at Surf Resort. The hotel was great on georgeous place with beautiful view. The service was very kind with very familier atmospher. Aat last we spend Our holidays at a place where the stuff spoke hungarian too. The restaurant was the best, the chef is excellente! We waiting for the next time. Me and my husband had a very good 8days in this hotel. The boss and the staff were very kind and they always looked forward to help us! The meals were also very good , fine and cheap. The room was big enough, and clean with a king size bed. They rent us car and surfboards, and show us where the good places for surfing! Hope we come back again soon!. Nice building, good location, good food. Concept of surfer-friendly hotel within easy driving distance of surf beaches but outside the major touristy towns a good idea. Ok if you want to explore. inland but this is definitely not a resort hotel (sic?). Wi.fi is good. Rooms basic but clean enough. Breakfast buffet is OK just. Restaurant menu sounds too good to be true and is. You won't find many English or Germans but Hungarians will love it. Not a criticism but a word of caution to shy people: you should not be afraid to ask for things. The staff are extremely helpful but they cannot read your mind!. The weather was quite cold in the mountans at the end of november, but its not the hotel's fault. Not enough staff - not quite ready to open as a hotel. No soap/shower gel in room. Room never cleaned! Should be good when fully running though. This hotel is well away from the coast and up in the hills so not suitable for those wanting heat. The pool is shaded in the afternoon & unheated so unusable. Restaurant service is very slow and food was luke warm.(1.75 Hrs for mains - with just 4 customers!) No kettle or even a glass in the room & Not much hot water either.
