We loved every thing about the Fariones Playa. It was just perfect for us. Right on the beach staff very helpful and friendly, very clean and situated close to shops restaurants etc. However after these good reviews we hope it does'nt put the price up .. as we would love to go back again .. finances permitting. The hotel was extremely clean and was in a fantastic location. The view of the ocean from our room was brilliant. Everything you needed was within the facilities, so you wouldn't have to leave if you didn't want to. Fantastic holiday, I will definitely stay there again!!.
all reviews » Everything, It ticks all the boxes for my husband and I, a lovely place to relax and unwind. The Suite Fariones is exceptionally clean, serves and excellent choice for breakfast,(even caters for those on a special diet) the beach and restaurants are excellent also. Excellent location with only minutes walk to Old Town & The Strip . Easy access to the beach through gate beside pool.Very clean hotel & Supermarket with access from interior was very handy. Would love to stay there again. loved everything, such a brilliant location, sea in your back garden and pool at your feet. Could not ask for better. really relaxed all the time. Cant wait to go back. i liked being near the beach. i liked the luxury of the hotel. i have recommended it to friends. my wife liked the exercise classes . good location. facilities were good,excellent location,variety of food, cleanliness, cleaning and restaurant staff very friendly. The Mini Club and Mini Disco for my six year old was fantastic. Right beside the beach. Breakfast great. Location ,food,spacious , peaceful ,cleanliness loved it an have already booked to go back. Location, right on the beach and split between the old and new towns, perfectly placed. What we did'nt like was the steps in the apt. We put a stool there to remind us in case of falling. Suggestion - maybe putting in some bins at a central location ( for plastics paper bottles etc ) .. There was. Bar and restaurant staff could be more friendly. The fact that we had to return home :(. going home. that there was no sun loungers on the beach. hotel evening entertainment. staff on reception too business like, not friendly enough.rooms could do with updating.no freezer in kitchen. All sunbeds taken with towels very early in the morning. Very frustrating and unnecessary. Nothin bad to say all good !. Expensive accomodation, drinks by the pool also expensive. beds a little uncomfortable, limited english T.V. .channels no beds on the beach - appreciate this not the fault of the Fariones but did impact on the holiday- entertainment in the bar could be better so as to entice more people to have a drnk there at night. the most thing i didn,t like was the swimming pool , i could never get a bed, always towels on them, but no one on them ,we were informed not to reserve the beds but it seemed no one respect it this and staff done nothing to stop this Breakfast was below average. Not able to get near pool unless I was prepared to get up well before dawn to 'Reserve' a sunlounger by placing a towel on it.. The hotels rules were never enforced re this practice so as a result we never used the pool facilities. All guests need to be treated equally, unfortunately not so when it came to the pool. Wi Fi non existent in bedrooms. More direction signs needed as the lay out of the hotel makes it quite confusing to find the shop for example. The bedroom and kitchen area in the apartment could do with a make over. gym wasn't open. when checking out the receptionist said we owed an additional 30 euro for the pool towels we didn't return when the note clearly said staff collected towels if not returned,this should be made more clear!. The hot breakfast buffet was cold everyday. Accommodation is somewhat dated. Seats in the apartment are not comfortable. Request for top floor apartment made 4 months in advance not available partly because there were renovations, which intruded on those by pool and no notice by any party of inavailability or inconvenience. No Tea Pots / big mugs. Spent breakfast walking around. A Tray would be useful. Reception staff not friendly or helpful. Some furniture/décor of room looking worn and well used. Air con not working.

Cleaning and towels changed every day. Sheets are changed every 2 days. Air conditioning is available in the living room and dining area in summer months only. Please note gym opening hours: Monday to Friday 10 am - 7 pm Saturday 10 am - 2 pm Sunday closed Please note that guests staying over 3 days will have free use of the sauna and the hot tub located at Fariones Sports Centre. Please note that renovations are taking place in the surroundings from January 2017 until 2018. Loud and continuous noises and disturbances will occur from 09:00 to 19:00, from Monday to Saturday.
