This was a last minute booking and we couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel. Excellent location, really nice breakfast which you could have in the courtyard and modern and very clean rooms.Above all, what really impressed us was the positive attitude of the Manager and all his staff. Without exception, every time we had any contact with any member of staff they were helpful,friendly and courteous. Thank you for such a memorable stay.
all reviews » The staff. Friendly, welcoming, helpful. They made sure our wedding anniversary was an enjoyable one. The location..central for everything, and yet very quiet. The room was light and bright, and cleverly designed to maximise the space. The roof terrace...a great place to relax with a book, and the view was incredible. Breakfast was substantial and very good. -The staff were very friendly and accommodating and recommended the best restaurants in the area. -The bed was very comfortable. -The location was great, right in the middle of the old town and close to the marina. -The hotel is very quiet even though it is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The position of hotel was great, right in centre of things. Plenty of restaurants to choose from close by. Hotel was very clean and up to date decor, great walk in shower, beds clean and comfy. Only a minor point but my big bug bear is piped music and, unfortunately, it was present in the restaurant and decking area. If Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole is your cup of tea then that's fine but I wouldn't impose my musical taste on others and that's my main objection to muzak like this. Rant over - everything else was just brilliant!!. No dislikes...just a few suggestions. ... I would have liked a chair in the room, but guess that would have spoiled the minimalist design. Could I suggest that the menu board which stands in the entrance, is written in a contrasting colour, as it's impossible to read when it's in front of a white wall! We saw people try to read it then give up and walk on. -The shower head could have been a better quality. Nothing. Could not fault the Hotel. Expensive. The sheets and bedding were a little light for an early Spring stay and there were no spare blankets in the room. The room was quite small for the price and for a superior double (the bedroom was the same size as the bathroom). Small lamps at the beds did not work proporly, no 'ordinary' rooms that could fit at family/group of 4 persons. Wish it had a bigger pool. Loved it all. bit pricey. hot/cold shower noise from corridor can be heard not 5* low ceiling in bathroom.
