We found the staff to be extremely helpful; they had arranged an early check-in and acted promptly when we had a problem with the room safe. Breakfast at the Palladium was varied, plentiful and good - and the dining room staff were efficient and friendly. The room was larger than we expected and very comfortable. The hotel was located in the town centre and close to some fine places to eat and drink, and within easy walking distance of the main shopping streets. The old town and the magnificent.
all reviews » The 2 guys on the desk were very welcoming when we checked in and confirmed our earlier request for an early check-in ( it was 10.30 am ) and a room on a high floor with Cathedral view. The room was a good size ( at least twice as big as we had recently in Barcelona at the same price ) Bathroom excellant with Power shower . Although on the edge of the town it's only 10 min's walk to everything . Very nice quality Bedding ! Breakfasts are good with a reasonable choice of cereals , cold meats. This was a mixture of business and leisure. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Very central yet quiet. Line 1 bus route, from the airport to port, stops outside the door. I could walk to main shopping area and main sites very easily. My favourite Palma restaurant, 'Celler Sa Premsa', is also walking distance!. The location is excellent. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having a view of the Cathedral. Nice bars, restaurants, the soller train, the harbour and shopping all within walking distance. I would recommed trying a gin and tonic in Ginbo. Staff gave me a fantastic room on 8th floor with view over the cathedral, Palma and the sea even though I only booked the most basic one. They prepared me a snack after being very hungry late evening. Very good hotel due to geat attentive staff and everything you could need at breakfast. The hotel was clean calm and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. I'm allergic to gluten, they went out and bought plenty of gluten-free food for breakfast. The hotel lies right on the edge of the center. 10min walk to the main square or Plaza de España. Incredibly friendly staff, always happy to help. Over 2 euros for a standard can of Spanish beer you can buy for 35 cents from the supermarket round the corner. A second coffee machine would be nice, too much hassle getting a coffee in the morning. Also the wifi never worked. Nothing really but be aware ladies there is no hairdryer in the room, yet they have some at the reception if you ask for it. Nothing. The breakfast was a bit lacking otherwise it was a great 5 night stop. none. they can improve wifi access. the wireless keyboard was not operational when I tried to use it. No tea-making facilities in room and not possible to get one at tea-time even. Hotel is perfect just for B&B (which we wanted for our 1st time there), but another time we'd like to return for longer, and would require something with a pool and more accessible leisure/rest. Only 2 small bath towels provided per day. Room service finished at 10.30pm for any drinks or food. Only food from hotel was sandwiches. Clearly overpriced. Breakfast. No air com. Very basic room no air con so hot at night - tried to upgrade but they wanted a lot of money so didn't do it. They have two standards of room so be carefully when booking cause some rooms have been modernised and some havnt. Very basic breakfast. No facilities. No balkony. boring room. not all rooms are refurbished. staying in the "old" rooms for the price is not a good value for the money.
