We were only there for one night but totally enjoyed everything. Breakfast. Hotel was really nice and clean and had a great view of Montefrio. Even though the hotel had not received the LetsBookHotel.com confirmation (or had lost it - i don't know which), they honoured the rate we had and improved on it. The location is superb. The staff are the most friendly and obliging we have ever encountered. They really made a difference to our stay there.all reviews »
Size of room was good. Staff welcoming and friendly. Very quiet. Very traditional Spanish building and decor. good position, friendly helpfull staff, good parking.lovely courtyard to relax,eat abd drink in. In lovely rural position with traditional house. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable and attractive rooms with spacious bathroom. Excellent restaurant. The situation; close to town but very quiet. The size of the rooms. The hotel patio.Location - overlooking the castle of Montefrio. Room size. Charm. The owners of the hotel are friendly , kind and very helpful. The shower head could not be fixed to the wall making it hard to enjoy a shower after a hard day's cycling. But the receptionist did try to help on that matter. We would have liked a choice of hot food for breakfast but, for the price, it was good value.Bed headboard uncomfortable. breakfast was good, evening meal was ok but a bit expensive for what it was. The restaurant. Several of our menu choices were unavailable. Food not particularly good. Mattresses. A bit noisy. The room was very , very cold and damp. I realise we were staying out of season but we still expected a warm , dry room. I had to sleep with all my clothes on just to keep warm.
