Fantastic clean, new, spacious apartments. Comfortably slept 4 of us. The receptionist was really nice and offered us a map of the city and pointed out all the best tourist sites etc. The facilities are great. Nice clean bathroom with good shower. Additional WC separately. Fridge-freezer, cooker. More than enough cups, glasses, plates, cutlery etc. Loads of wardrobe and cupboard space. Air-con. We were able to leave our bags in reception on the last day after checking out. Perfect for city brea.
all reviews » Our initial impressions were made on first entering the building and being greeted by a friendly face. The two members of staff we met during our stay were brilliantly friendly and helpful throughout, we couldn't have asked for more. This is by far where the apartments excel, as it was such a cheerful start to our visit. The apartments are not 5* luxury, but nevertheless are clean and spacious and offered everything we needed. The apartment was just a 10 minute walk from the train station w. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, clean, modern and very comfortable. It was quiet, considering the proximity to the city centre, and the location was excellent. Bedding, towels, and kitchen equipment were all of a high standard. Perhaps the most memorable part of the visit was the genuine warm and informative welcome from the staff member who spoke excellent English. This is a new business and a lot of thought has gone in to the set up. It is a comfortable place to stay in the heart o. Terrific apartments!! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was located in the heart of the city. The apartment it self was beautiful. Minor things were not completely functional, but it was a new apartment so that is expected. The walls were too thick to support wifi throughout our apartment. I would recommend using their provided wifi repeater if you have only one person using the wifi. Otherwise do not use the repeater and go to the room closest to the door so you can conne. On arrival we were met by one of the friendliest and most helpful reception persons you could want to meet. The room was immaculate and apartments so centrally located it was just perfect. As a group of 5 a 5 out of 5 success rate for a good nights sleep shows they must be doing something right. We all agreed that we would recommend for any type of travel to the city of Malaga. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves thank you Debambu, and a special thanks to your lovely reception staff!. Everything, the pictures were accurate and we were extremely surprised. The location was close to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores. We had a one bedroom unit and it was so spacious, we didn't expect it to be cleaned daily. The people at the desk were very helpful, assisting us making a reservation with a company for a trip to Morocco. Making a call for us. On check in gave us a map and drew out the nearest locations for the grocery store and restaurants. The place was a pleasure from the outset. Very central. It gave the feeling of being a local rather than a tourist. The wonderful market was a few minutes walk away so you could shop for your breakfast every morning if you wanted. Though right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, it is on a narrow alley in the pedestrianised old city and so is very quiet. We were most impressed and felt we'd discovered a real gem. Our stay at apartments Debambu has been exceptional. The apartments are new, well designed and very clean. The location is superb for exploring the city attractions but quiet. Our check-in was very easy and quick. They gave us a map of the city, recommended the main sites and a few suggestions for dining and all that in English which is not the norm in Spain. We will definetely stay there when we visit Malaga again. Everything and YES price is a factor as it can't be beaten especially for the 2 bedroom apartment. We were 2 couples and it was perfect in every way. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive and the staff who are also the owners are as accomodating as one could ever hope for. Clean, comfortable and spacious. I/we will be staying here again and have no doubts that everything will remain the same. Nice modern apartment right in the centre of the old town and near most of the points of interest and the many restaurants and tapas bars. The young lad on reception couldn't have been more helpful pointing out the points of interest even if unfortunately we only had 1 day in Malaga. I would highly recommend these apartments for longer stays also as they have a daily cleaning service free of charge. Everything! The welcome from the guy on reception was exceptional and informative. The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Although we didn't cook there was everything needed to prepare a meal. This place is a little gem! It is beautifully appointed and incredibly well situated in the middle of Malaga. But to be honest this was part of the fun, and the receptionist gave us a map and a phone number to call if needed. Nothing!. There was nothing that came to mind from any one in our group that was worthy of a negative comment, which is rare. No issues whatsoever. We didn't realize till the second to last day, how to get out of the tourist zone for restaurants. In the area around Apartamentos Debambu, it was so expensive. Not that it's my favourite pastime- even less so when on holiday, but there was no iron available!. The view from the window, but you can't have everything!. Overnight cost of the public parking. 23€!!!. Warning: The appartment is located in a pedestrian area, so if you come by car, you have to unload a block away and park the car in the nearby Parking-garage. It's not a problem, actually, but something one should be aware of. Everything was great - highly recommended. No washing machine, however staff able to arrange for laundry to be done. That I had to leave!. Nothing. Everything was excellent, though it was a little difficult to find at first. No negatives. The location is a little difficult to reach as it's in the middle of the pedestrian zone so you just need to make sure you know where you are going before you set off. The bolster pillow on the double bed. Everything was great. Parking the car is easy yet expensive: about 25€/ day. A dish towel would have been perfect to complement the stay. The only unpleasant surprise was parking. On this website there is stated that you can leave your car at paid parking place nearby. It is no hotel´s parking lot with reasonable prices, its public parking house, with 18 Euros/day rate, it is better to be prepared for it. 1. Staff knowledge not enough and helpful for city, restaurants. 2. Pay 4 beds for a couple. (Rooms has 4 beds). 3. No windows outside. it's a brand new place and there always a few minor issues to work out, but there is nothing not to like. Bit hard to find, but well worth it when you do. Nothing really. Soundproofing was not very effective. In particular, noise from the corridor and from the street was quite considerable. Not directly accessible by car to drop off luggage etc and no advance indication of this on website. Parking nearby is secure but costs 20 euros per 24 hours pass. Trying to find the place ! Found car park easily enough but they need to supply better directions as just a doorway in a side street . For anyone booking I advise asking for very specific directions. Washing machine was not available. There was no iron for the clothes and the hotel didnt offer laundry service. n/a.
