It is located in the village of Las Negras, it feels a bit as if it was in the middle of the desert, and in fact, I think it may very well be. EXCELLENT Service and Staff: Complimentary beach towels and sun umbrellas to use, Free parking in immediate surroundings. Complete information given for visits. Check out time is 11:30 but our flight was at 19:40 - a complimentary shower and towels were offered !! Soundproof room with beautiful Seaview. Complete Breakfast buffet included and tables o.
all reviews » Hotel has a very modern style and is the atomsphere is relaxing. No traffic noise around. The facility is located in Las Negras village, a very small but cool spot. From there you can easily visit all the Cabo de Gata area. Fortunately very little English is spoken here and this is a huge advantage in my opinion unlike spoilt places like Marbella and other crowded tourist traps in southern Spain. The staff were very attentive and let me use their computer and printer and gave me great advice in. The hotel is build in a pleasant modern style. The interior and garden are very well designed and furnished. The pool is great! The room are large and bright. Most of them have a spaceous terrace or balcony. The breakfast buffet is large and well assorted. You can have breakfast indoors on the shady terrace. The hotel is in a newer area of Las Negras, but still a few minutes walking from the beach. Great hotel in a great location (Las Casas itself is a a very nice place to stay). Staff was really friendly, breakfast buffet was nice. It was a good surprise and we left with the feeling we would definitively come back. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Large, clean, well appointed room with a view of the ocean. Good breakfast included. An excellent value all around. If you like the modern white look of hotel with formally correct service then this is a place for you. The limited parking slots but I could park my car for free on the main road close to entrance of the Hotel and I did not get any parking ticket. The price to enter the Spa (€ 25). Our room was not too clean. Walls and doors were greasy. Finding your predecessor's cotton wool in the bathroom is gross... Some of the reception staff just speaks Spanish or the littlest English. They tend to hide behind the counter when guests pass by. A friendlier, more welcoming and personal approach would make this hotel perfect. Pricing of the Spa is a bit excessive. A diving board from my balcony to the pool would've been nice, otherwise, no complaints. We selected the hotel with a higher cost for the spa but it wasn't open and as its another management then the hotel they "couldn't do anything". They got a taxi for us but forgot to inform us that we had to pay for him getting from San José (20km to bring us 5km). The heated swimingpool was ofcourse empty. So in short no place to stay when its of season. personal speak very poor in english, meniu in restaurant only in spanish. SPA was not for free, and cold inside, no music, no towels, in the nigth was problem with electricity, so it was realy scary, when the alarm ligths start blinking. price for massage very high, allmoust 170 euros for 1 hour. Noise of water filtres.
