The hotel is family run and most of the staff are related one way or another. This makes for a great deal of staff committment. Rooms clean and all the hotel clean. Beds were firm but to my liking, not everyones but mine. 4th floor had sea views from balcolny and all had the sun at some point during the day. Air con/heating in rooms. Only 100yds or so from fantastic beach. Out of season so not crowded but understand in the height of season very busy area. In my opinion great hotel and fantastic.

The hotel is in a brilliant spot for the beach and shops, as 2 women we felt very safe. The staff right through the Hotel are very helpful and friendly. From the time we arrived everything was very good from staff to accommodation to food. Just a few minutes walk to beach and shops and bars if needed. we like everything about this hotel . it is so relaxing and friendly. the rooms with a sea view are good. communal areas to sit and enjoy a rest. Safe car parking in the basement (have to pay!). Please rent a small car as the entrance to the basement is very narrow. Very friendly staff. Value for money. Proximity to Beach/Town Comfortable. Perhaps the decor could have been nicer and the curtains washed. No WiFi in the rooms, only in the lobby area. Only part of the staff could understand English/German. Tired dated rooms. Leaking Shower. Some people would not be happy with bedrooms as decor very basic. Not been able to make a cup of tea in the room Garry. Bed a little on the firm side for our taste. Air conditioner in room not available and was needed. Not friendly position for disabled. Not a lot!. beds are rather basic/uncomfortable. Breakfast.Poor selection. We didn't like the weather - as it rained all the time we were there!!. breakfast cannot be eaten outside. missed cleaning the room one day. many apologies and small gift as compensation. Would go back without hesitation. Choice of food for dinner. The hard pillows. poor breakfast. Lack of brown bread for breakfast. Faulty shower head toilette, and some of the lamp bulbs. The food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner and free wine is not worth the price. Very Hard beds!. Breakfast - No choice, slow to replenish. Only continental breakfast. Aircon not working particularly well and very noisy. bread and cake breakfast.
