On entering the Iris I was met by a very welcoming Sabby one half of amazing hosts of this little gem of a hideaway who went out of her way to make sure my stay in Benidorm would be one to remember, in more ways then one. The security was great as someone was on duty at all times. Rooms very quite and have just undergone a makeover and very clean and all what you need to make your stay comfy and safe. This little gem of a hotel just 3 minutes walk to the beach and also in centre of Beni.
all reviews » The rooms where basic but clean, the sheets and towels were clean. The staff were friendly, the hotel was small so had a family feel to it once you were settled. Is very central, 2-5 minutes from bars and restaurants, 10 minutes from the beach. 20 minutes walk (uphill) to the tram if you wish to visit other locations. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hotel Iris, the hotel owners were lovely, so helpful and really welcomed us. The hotel was great value for money too. We stayed as part of a group holiday in Benidorm and I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much for ensuring our holiday was great :). Sabby and her brother Assad couldn't do more for us as a group, they are extremely nice people. We had an extra person rock up at the last minute and this wasn't a problem. Will defo stay there again...if its not fully booked!. You will never ever get a more genuine couple than sabby and her brother Assad, we have lived in BENIDORM for 11 years, and they are the nicest couple we have met, stay there, they are beautiful, mick and Sam. We liked the welcoming friendliness, the fact that nothing was too much trouble for mine hosts Sabby and Hassad, the location for all ameneties, for a cost effective break the Hotel Iris is superb. Was a very cheap hotel right in the heart of the old town. I though the staff were excellent and very accomodating during our time there. The t/v only has Spanish channels, not too useful when most of the clientele is English. The front of the hotel could be brightened up a bit so the first impression is a bit more impressive/friendly. Nothing. very basic. Bed a bit lumpy. N/A. No vending machines. The bar didn't seem open. The entrance area seemed to feel really cluttered when it should be all opened up and a nice sitting area. First impressions are paramount. Rooms very small but functional. Bands playing till 2 in the morning for some festival. Can be noisy throughout the night as some tapas bars close by. Would have been nice to have a fridge and kettle in room. shower beds where not great.
