the location, in the old town with a fantastic view of the marina and Poniente Beach - you HAVE to pay extra for sea view, it is well worth it. Walk in shower, free wifi, quietest and most efficient aircon we've ever had, staff very friendly and helpful, bar open all day and reasonable prices, spotlessly clean. We loved it and are hoping to go back next year. The Condestable hotel is very well situated in the old town part of Benidorm. We paid extra for the view over the marina which was well worth the upgrade. The hotel is small and very basic, but it is also cheap, clean and in a quiet area. All in all good it's good value for money and we would stay there again.
all reviews » Lovely family run hotel, we were made to feel very welcome, room basic but clean, cleaned everyday, beds made, clean towels, with an amazing view of the harbour and beach. Quiet surroundings, sun on balcony from late afternoon until sunset, beautiful view of the mountain Puig Campana. The position is fabulous, I would recommend paying a bit more for the sea view rooms. The view is great. The staff were all very friendly, and although the rooms are basic, they were very clean. Second stay and will be back, basic but great value for money. Superb location with great views and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a cold drink. Free WiFi in lobby a bonus!. The location was perfect in the old town . view from our balcony was stunning it was basic but very clean , staff very helpful and friendly going back next year . air conditioned room,balcony overlooked torviscas harbour+poniente beach.central location ,near dove park made it easy to access bars etc in old+new town. this is my third time very basic with a seven star view location fantastic clean towels and linen every day room very clean staff verygood will be back. The hotel was in a perfect position in the old town. The view from the sea view room on 5th floor was amazing. The location was ideal for what we wanted and our rooms were cleaned everyday for the 3 days we were there. Great views from balcony, cheep bar, great location, helpful staff, good aircon. the views of the harbour how close the bars where and the shops. Location. we didn't dislike anything - maybe not enough drawers (2 in the dressing table and one in each of the bedside tables) - but carrier bags on hangers took undies, socks etc so not a problem. Its a family run hotel - grandfather, 2 sons and grandson but only the 2 sons speak a bit of English - so worth learning a little Spanish before you go. I speak limited Spanish and we never had a problem. Nothing really. It is a very basic small hotel, but for the money we have no real complaints. Its on a bit of a hill, so could be hard for those with mobility issues. Breakfast is limited, but adequate. The street view rooms can be a bit noisy at times. Lack of a small fridge.....happily pay extra for one, the owners did let us use the fridge in the bar though!. although hotel was spotless+staff were superb,the hotel could do with some modernising.small additions like fridge in rooms would be advantageos. Rooms ok need up grade. don't have any compains. Slightly old fashioned decor. no tea/coffee making facility in room. Dated décor. Shower was no good for someone with a disability. only thing that was poor were the showers in the room. Very old fashioned in interior. Toilet was almost under the sink so would be difficult to sit on if on the larger side. Very noisy from other rooms/guests. No parking. Very old, bad looking furniture, probably from comunism. No wardrobe, just some space in the wall. Bad smell from air condition. Walls probably made of paper or something similar because you can hear everything. No place for drying clothes or towels. And many other things... All the inventory is so old. It should be renovated.
