I cannot fault the Sahara Sunset Club one bit. We were a Hens party from Ireland so on first impression we thought we would be too roudly for the families with small children. However we were soon advised of the Roof Top Terrace that is rarely used by small children. The roof terrace had sun loungers, tables and chairs and best of all a jacuzzi that could easily fit 8 people. Believe me we managed to have our own fun without insulting the other holiday makers. On arrival which was almost midnight we were pleasantly surprised to find a large bottle of water and some milk in our fridge, plus some sachets of tea, coffee and sugar. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Plenty of clean towels and linen. The Casbah cafe served good food at a fair price. Excellent entertainment in the evenings. If I was to go to this area of Spain again I would definately stay here. The apartment was very nice and it was my great value for money hotel in my life! I can just recommend it! This hotel is great for families or older people. It was quite place and the architecture of the building was very beautiful. Everyhing is very near. Bus station just 2 minutes’ walk. I was mislead in to thinking that all the facilities were paid for,I could have got a similar hotel with all the facilities included for the same price.IT Is not worth booking if you want to use the gym,internet, sauna,steam room. Nothing really however hairdryer in the bathroom was not particularly good but not really a problem. Every time the toilet was flushed in our apartment there was a faint smell of sewage from the pipe. Not pleasant but in fairness we didn't report it. The blocks around the pool looked great, however we were in a block outside the main complex, on the 3rd floor with no lift. Not good for taking your luggage upstairs. Parking non existant at this time of year. We had to check out at 10.00. Far to early. Not enough sunbeds. The only flaw we found was having to leave the apartment so early. nothing. Many of the apartments could only be accessed by walking out of the complex and along the street. For older people there were quite a lot of steps. Had serious problems with the room which were not fixed during the stay and it was very poorly compensated. Cleaning was done every three days though it varied a bit and the linen were not changed. The resort is not exactly a cheap one and still everything costs extra, including WiFi which was ridiculously expensive. The restaurant is expensive too, it's better to go few hundreds meters to the chiringuitos near the beach in the paseo maritimo. i didn't like the fact that i didn't book for the whole week. The rule of not reserving towels being enforced. People were reserving beds and not using them for 2/3 hours when others around the pool were unable to use them. There is nothing to dislike. Going home... no easy access to wi-fi. Too many stairs. nothing . Just a small complaint,when I booked I specifically requested 2 rooms with twin beds but on arrival they had allocated 2 rooms with double beds......not good for 4 men ! But each room had a sofa bed so it worked out ok. Paid internet (7 euro per day) - shame. Very thin walls, you can hear everything and everyone, sometimes hard to sleep. Whats not to like!. We did not like the towels, they were a grey white and did not smell fresh. nothing. Being in block outside of main complex. No free WiFi and it was VERY expencive. Our one bedroom apartment was worn out (kitchen specially). The cleaning of the pool area starting at 10 O'Clock so guests were unable to bath in this area until 11am it would be better if cleaning was done 9 - 10 before guests are allowed around pool. The soundproofing (or lack of it) in the room was poor.
