Fantastic views. 5 minute walk to shops and pleasant restaurants We stayed in a 2 bed lodge which was well equipped Would recommend Lodge number 6 as not as many steps as some of the other lodges. Helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend. We liked the spacious suite and design. The view of the sea from our balcony.The staff were excellent and we felt that we were important to them and that they did all they could to make sure that we enjoyed our stay with them.

Important information to guests

Some of rooms and chalets can only be reached by stairs from the main parking area. If you or your fellow guests have a problem climbing many steps, then please notify us as soon as possible as we can not guarantee the possibility of changing chalets upon arrival. Reception Service is available between 08:00 and 18h00 Porter Service is available between 08:00 and 17:00 Please note the Boardwalk Lodge offers wireless internet throughout - the first 250MB is free, thereafter guests can purchase an additional 1GB at ZAR 20 per day.

Travelling information

By Car: From George: - As you enter the town of Wilderness, you’ll spot a Caltex Fueling Station on your left. Here, turn left into George Road. - Continue along George Road as it passes through the village and the De Oude Karos Hotel on your left. - At the T-junction with Waterside Road, turn left. - Then, take the second turning on the right, into Constantia Kloof Road. - A short distance up the road, you’ll see a large Boardwalk Lodge sign on your right, turn right into Young Terrace at the sign. - Follow the driveway up, past the yellow house on your right. - Continue up the driveway until you see a sign that indicates the Boardwalk Lodge Reception.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 65 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 2 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night per person when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % VAT is included.
