  Beautiful room, with such thoughtful extras and special touches like homemade rusks and assorted nuts, a welcome letter, dark hand towel for ladies' make-up removal, a well-stocked library and DVD collection, and coffee and tea assortment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommended, and would certainly return here for a quiet relaxing time. - The people were very friendly. The attention to detail in almost every aspect was remarkably good. Highly recommended but be sure you have the right expectation. Its small family run place which is a couple hundred yards from beachside. Not a fancy hotel

  We loved this guesthouse! It is a little bit remote, but worth it! It's situated in a safety area, there is a securitygate at the entrance, and the sea is nearby. All the rooms have a very nice seaview. The first thing I saw when I wake up, was the ocean! The owners were very hospitality and proud to have this beautifull guesthouse. The room and b... what people say » athroom were very clean and cosy. The best breakfast we ever had in South-Africa was here. They make their own bread. They have plenty of choice, this - the oyster catcher lodge was beyond our expectations. We travel to many holiday destinations in and out of south africa and we have never had such luxury and ambience at any destination befor. We had the honeymoon suite which was out of this world as the sea was almost in the bedroom. Def be going back
