  Wonderfull place. Everything was great : our host, the pool, the jacuzzi, the beach, the breakfast, etc. Quiet, secure, excellent restaurant in the area. Absolutly nothing to complain about! We loved it! - Nice building located on the beach with pool and jeccutsi. Long beach with dunes. Direct access from the room to the pool deck.

  I intentionally left all the scores at Excellent because that was exactly my experience of this place. I felt at home, yet private enough to go about as I wanted. I like the area - it is safe and very quiet. And even though it may look a bit far from everything else in PE, it really only takes you just over 10 minutes to get anywhere.   The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. It's a bit pricey but... what people say » converting to UK pounds for example, it is really, really worth it. Also the Boxer dog belonging to the owners' son is the most gorgeous dog I've eve - My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended. We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........

Back to basics, with your own ‘braai’, outside kitchen, shower and toilet. Great hillside views, romantic evenings under the moon and stars. Great accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.
