The pool was a perfect place to relax, the staff attentive and kind, and the grounds were beautiful. Felt like a one night escape to paradise with lofted ceilings and a large, tiled tub. Would definitely return. They also recommended an amazing restaurant for dinner, Bezas. An unexpected last minute find on here that I'd happily return to. Having breakfast in the morning with such a stunning view just makes it so much better! What a wonderful guesthouse! stunning rooms and wonderful gardens. Very friendly staff that realy go out their way to make your stay deligtful!.
all reviews » Breakfasts for me were the best part of the day. Excellent food beautiful surroundings, it was wonderfully relaxing and what with the excellent service with a smile. I am only sorry that I did not sign the visitors book. Personal attention made me feel comfortable and safe, the staff knew me by name even though I was only there for a day. definitely book there again. Nice place to stay. My only real gripes would be that the bed could have been bigger or have been two singles. nothing at all. None. The parking. As it was a guest house, you had to inform about your meals in advance. Nothing. No overhead fan in the de luxe room. Only one small ice tray in freezer. Didn't have time to swim in the beautiful pool!. parking is too small. Parking area was tight. NIL. Old fashioned room but I guess the new rooms were more expensive. need for a car to get to downtown or restaurants/shops. nelspruit itself is not worthwhile visiting, only as a hub to kruger or blyde river canyon. Room, old fashioned needs a makeover.

From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport & From R40 North (Hazyview / White River): - Leaving the Airport, turn right at the circle towards White River. - Continue following signs for White River and the R40. - When you reach the R40, turn left towards Nelspruit. - Continue for about 15Km and TURN LEFT at the first set of traffic lights AFTER the N4 junction (the Town Lodge is on your right hand side) into Piet Retief St. - Continue straight on Piet Retief St. through 2 sets of traffic lights, a small traffic circle and a 4-way stop street. - Immediately after the stop street, take the first turn right into Van Wijk St. There is a sign for La Roca on your left. - Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small traffic circle and La Roca is about 100m on your right (# 56). - Look out for a long earthy red-coloured wall with earthy yellow pillars and 2 green gates. From N4 West (Pretoria / Johannesburg) - Heading into Nelspruit on the N4, take the first turn off to left sign posted for Nelspruit centre and R40 Barberton. - When you arrive at the set of traffic lights for the R40, turn right onto the R40 towards Barberton. - Take the first turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Piet Retief St. - Continue straight on Piet Retief St. through 2 sets of traffic lights, a small traffic circle and a 4-way stop street. - Immediately after the stop street, take the first turn right into Van Wijk St. There is a sign for La Roca on your left. - Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small traffic circle and La Roca is about 100m on your right (# 56). - Look out for a long earthy red-coloured wall with earthy yellow pillars and 2 green gates. From N4 East (Malelane / Mozambique) - Follow signs for Nelspruit centre/Barberton on the N4 highway. - Continuing towards Nelspruit city centre, the N4 splits. Do not follow the N4 lanes on the right hand side. - KEEP LEFT when the road splits and continue straight up into Bell St. - At the traffic lights at the top of Bell St., TURN LEFT into Ferreira St. - At the second set of traffic lights, TURN RIGHT into Van der Merwe St. - Continue up Van der Merwe street until you reach a four-way stop street. - TURN LEFT into Mostert St. - Immediately after the stop street, take the first turn right into Van Wijk St. There is a sign for La Roca on your left. - Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small traffic circle and La Roca is about 100m on your right (# 56). - Look out for a long earthy red-coloured wall with earthy yellow pillars and 2 green gates.
