This guesthouse was delightful. And the bed linens...fabulous. Lovely room for breakfast with choice of terrace or indoor tables (floor to ceiling windows), all with views of Mossel Bay. The rooms have the views as well and private terraces. Breakfast choices are thoughtful, skillfully executed and beautifully presented...cloth napkins and tablecloths. There is a club room on a lower level where you can have a drink and sign for it on the honor system, a large tv, comfortable furnishings, to ha.
all reviews » great location on the hill and near the center, fabulous sea view, the dining room has a huge window from which you can see the ocean and the bay. nice room, clean, as well as the bathroom, well appointed, great bed and comfortable. the managers were very kind and hospitable. great breakfast. the day we spent in Mossel Bay unfortunately it was raining, so we could not visit as we wanted. I can say, however, that is a beautiful destination. large bay, and to the west a beautiful cliff for a good. Great friendly welcome, lovely room and view, only a short walk to restaurants, beach etc.lovely breakfast with great choice and setting overlooking the harbour, helpful hosts regarding directions and general information regarding the area. Room 2 was a little noisey in the morning as it is right next to the reception and carpark, a little more privacy in the bathroom would also improve this room as the voil is insufficient for the size of the window with the car park outside it and other homes over looking it. The bedroom was a little small & dark. It was offset to the side advertised with 2 views but was so cramped you could only really sit on the balcony. Some rooms were much better so it all depended on choice or allocation. Wish we had more time here. We only had a short time on the garden route. 3 nights here would have been good. Bedrooms all feed off a corridor leading to the open plan dining room and breakfast preparation noise resulted in an early start!!. No air con. Steep driveway to parking area. There was nothing to dislike. Nothing. not enough space for the toilet in room 1, TV is positioned too high. No fan or airconditioner in room. walk up the hill from the town. up a very steep hill!. n/a. Nothing. It's so hilly around there! And Mossel Bay is a bit boring. Disappointed with the pool, was too dirty!. Difficult to find also difficult to get into up extremely steep hill owners over fussy. Uptight attitude of owner. Ridiculously mean breakfast. Tiny portions. Rationed toast and coffee reluctantly served. All in all not a nice place to stay.
