The staff made our stay in JHB a memorable one. We got the assistance we really needed especially from the reception staff and the driver who was always on time to take us from one place to the other.
The staff went out of their way to assist. It was close to the Vodadome where we attended SATCH. No traffic problems.Friendly staff and the close locality to the Gallagher Convention Centre.

The room, linen & bathroom were all clean.
The location was fine. the receptionist very helpful and always willing to help. it can be used anyway if you are not necessarily looking for comfort.
The breakfast could be improved a little bit to cater for a diverse group of visitors. The management could inquire from residents on what they would need from guests and try to offer that.
The place needs a bit of paint.Very noisy. Three flight of stairs to the room. For a mature couple this was difficult to access. One bath towel and one hand towel for two guests. Not acceptable. The building and surroundings are in average to poor condition, as is the general lighting. There are steep staircases with uneven steps making the rooms on the upper levels awkward or uncomfortable to access. The windows did not open or close properly and the curtains were falling off the walls. In general, this place is more like a budget dorm than a 3 star lodge.
The pictures on the web must have been taken years ago as the Villa looks neglected, it was not very clean, bathroom shower was not working, bathroom door did not have a handle and could not close, the view out the window was the backyard with loads of rubbish and empty bottles. Breakfast consisted of wheet bix and toast with cheese and ham and some canned fruit and yoghurt. We were very dissapointed!.
We confirmed twice before arrival , but when we arrived at 19h30 we were told "sorry we do not have a room for you". We were send to a
"guest house" 5 min away -which was actually 30 min away-just to find no answer at gate.. Extremely unprofessional!!!!. the room was dusty more especially the wardrobe and the bathroom and not at all what was expected for a double deluxe room.
