  One of the best hotels I staied. View is amazing, very cozy room. At the first minute we felt like home. Good collection of books, there is even a coffe machine for exspressor. Certainly we will come again, if we go to Cape Town. Special word has to be siad about a host. Very nice woman and very helpfull.   I will not recommend this place because I hate the idea that it will atready be fully booked when I try to book it at my next visit to Cape Town. Stay away! The perfect atmosphere around the pool in the tropical garden is just too relaxing and is temptatimg to miss some of the "musts" of the usual tourist path.And the excellent breakfast in the mo... what people say » rning sun in this garden lets you put unnecessary weight on which is really hard to get rid off again. - The owner and his staff.   Highly recommended! Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home. The hosts are extremely helpful ... what people say » with everything. We had a very late flight and could use all facilities in the house during that day. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay - Excellent location, easy to find and easy to park in front of the house. Great view from the balcony. Complimentary Nespresso coffee, tea, beer and wine. Confortable bed and clean room. Burt is very friendly and giving lot of advices on things to do. I'll come back definitely! - Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.

  I spent 10 days here as a solo female traveler and what a wonderful place! I really enjoyed my stay here. James really goes out of his way to make sure you have the best trip possible. He arranged a tour of Robben Island for me and a really cool cooking class in Bo Kaap. But what I was most impressed by was that the place was absolutely spotless.... what people say » The breakfast was also really good. - Very nice room and a comfortable bed and shower. James, the owner, is friendly and helpful (he checked if the cable way to table mountain was open (because of heavy winds) and if a certain museum was open (because of public holiday), dropped me off at the Waterfront, as he had to go there as well, and arranged a taxi/shuttle service.

  Peter (who is the owner) is one of the gratest host of all!! I was so happy to meet such a person. So helpful on helping you getting to know the city and all! The lodge is very nice, quite and safe. You feel like you are a family the 2nd day. The breakfast of the lodge can beat many of the five star open buffet because Peter knows good food and ch... what people say » ooses them well. Although I stayed in a room without a bathroom I did not had any problems whatsoever as the bathrooms were al so close to the rooms a - Excellent value-for-money, decent rooms and shared bathrooms are very clean. The staff is extremely nice and will help you with any questions you might have. Breakfast is extra, but good quality. The owner made sure to be very personal and made my stay very pleasurable.
