We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, it was much bigger than expected. The staff was very effecient and friendly. The hotel it self is beautiful and will surely be part of "places to photograph on holiday" very unique. The breaksfast served was plentiful and well prepared. What a quaint and pretty B&B. The 2 ladies who run this guesthouse were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The position of this B&B overlooking the lagoon is beautiful with many places to eat and drink just 10 minutes walk away. An excellent place to stay when travelling the garden route. We found the rooms very spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was superb and the view over the gardens and lagoon from the breakfast room was sublime. Joe was very hospitable and friendly whilst the 20 minute walk to the waterfront was pleasant and safe. A great base if you are planning to stay a while in Knysna with easy access and lots of off-street parking
