  It offered very good value for money and since we we going to a wedding and only going to be arriving late and night and leaving early the next morning, we did not need all the bells and whistles. So, for us it ticked all the boxes - convenient, comfortable, well located, well priced. Most important question of all: Would you go back ? The answer ... what people say » is yes - Very Awesome! So relaxed. Friendly environment, good food. Warm rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. I will be here again in the next year.

  The service at Rusthuiz Guest House was fautless. The most welcoming and helpful team we experienced in South Africa. The team were fantastic in recommending restaurants and managed to secure us a table at late notice. All staff at Rusthuiz were a pleasure! The house is also beautiful and warm and the rooms immaculate. The rooms are very well equi... what people say » pped and spacious, and very homely- a lot of thought had gone into the finishing touches such as a mini medical kit in the bathroom and a very full we - On arrival our welcome was so friendly and warm and we felt at home straight away. Beautiful gardens and building, with fine rooms. Our bedroom was stunning - large comfortable and a fab balcony.All the staff were great and did so much to make our stay perfect. Reserved supper, spoilt us when we sat by the tranquil swimming pool. Perfection. Loved our stay and thought the beach basket with towels was a wonderful addition.

  Gwen & Johan were incredibly helpful, and offered lots of recommendations both for restaurants and (most importantly for us) wine tours! Indeed, we hadn't even checked in and had made the online reservation a couple of hours earlier and they were helping us book a wine tour! I especially liked their attention to detail - all the small touches... what people say » in the room, (free water, chocolate, slippers, bathrobe), fantastic bathroom - it felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel. - Room was perfect, bathroom luxurious, car could park in the gated court. Minibar was reasonably priced and lots of choice. Breakfast made to order. Location very good if one wants to explore Stellenbosch by foot. Very passionate hosts who love to receive guests from all over the world.
