Apart from the actul building , the welcome and subsequent friendliness and hospitality was out - This is a gorgeous guest house. Our room was so confortable and large, it had the best bathroom I ever experienced in a hotel with 1 big bath and 2 fantastic showers! Ina, the owner was very friendly - like the rest of the staff - and made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent, service beyond expectations. We loved it.

I can't imagine why anyone would stay in town, as there is no beach there, only rocks, and a lot of people. When I arrived, I walked to the beach in the late afternoon and was immediately hooked.

The location is very convenient just across from the walking path along the coastline into the town center of Hermanus.   We stayed for only 1 night. Upon arrival, we were provided advice on the best way for whale sighting. On that winter night, the owner also brought us hot water pack which really helped to keep us warm. On the next day, my husband fell sick. The owners were very helpful.
