When we arrived at the house, Soekie was already there and we were warmly welcomed by this friendly, elegantly dressed lady. Travelling information

From Cape Town, take the N2 towards Somerset West and over Sir Lowry's Pass. Continue past the Grabouw/Elgin turn-off and over the Houwhoek Pass. Then take the R43 off-ramp to Hermanus. Stay on the main road through the town of Hermanus until you reach the roundabout. Go three-quarters of the way round, turning left onto 10th Street. Continue past the Caltex service station on the left, and then turn right onto 9th Avenue. Turn right onto 11th Street, and the accommodation is on the right-hand side.
