Centre-Ville was an amazing place to stay and the unique Victorian look could be seen down to the smallest detail. Not only was it walking distance to all sites of interest, but the hosts were incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of the town and ensured we enjoyed the best food and experiences. My personal favourite aspect of Centre-Ville was

Small lovely bed & breakfast just a street off the main shopping and restaurant street for this lovely quaint wine country town, surrounded by lovely mountains. We booked the honeymoon suite which is a large open room with a free standing tub and a deck. The staff were amazing.... our plane was very late getting into cape Town, and then we had a drive to get to Franschhoek. The hostess had taken the initiative to book us into a restaurant (as they were all close to closing) ... it was th

We were looked after by James and Pat who were both very friendly and
helpful. On arrival we were given an upgraded room which was very clean
and tidy with a very large bed! The house was very interesting with an
old colonial feel. It is in a secluded spot, very peaceful but within
easy walking distance to the town which is very beautiful. We only
stayed 1 night but could easily have stayed longer. We will be
recommending Maison Chablis to our friends and family.

Staff friendliness and willingness to assist in any way was outstanding. Breakfasts were varied and tailored to all of our needs. The privacy and space in our family suite was excellent with a child. It felt like a home away from home. The hosts willingness to assist and recommendations for day trips, restaurants, and spas was great!

We loved this impeccable 2 years old guest house in this lovely and historic town. It offers excellent value and is beautifully appointed by the owners Clive and Jeanne Garlick. Breakfast was delicious. The ten minute walk from the main street was a great way to work off the lovely food available in Franschhoek's restaurants and it also meant that it was really peaceful away from the through traffic.
