The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The facilities in the room are well thought out and you can see thought has gone into the room layout. The deck areas are amazing with great views over the city and harbour. Breakfast is also of a very high standard. Exceptionally spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with a full range of facilities which (for the room I was allocated) including an en suite bathroom, full kitchen and private open air courtyard.
Friendly efficient staff (and two friendly lap dogs in the outdoor reception area).

My stay at Hedge House was brilliant. I was there for almost a week for a conference and to visit Cape Town.
Judy was incredibly friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process. She arrange my pick up from the airport and set me up since my arrival in the morning of the first day.
The room was brilliant, on a corner with great views, lots of space and a huge bathroom with shower and bath.
The stay the entire week was fabulous. Judy was really helpful all the time.

The Underberg guesthouse is situated very centrally so it was very convenient and close to some top restaurants. This enabled us to save on our hire car expenses. It truly is a beautiful place and I would definitely stay there again. Also, the actual place is true to the picture on the internet if not even more beautiful in life.

I spent 10 days here as a solo female traveler and what a wonderful place! I really enjoyed my stay here. James really goes out of his way to make sure you have the best trip possible. He arranged a tour of Robben Island for me and a really cool cooking class in Bo Kaap. But what I was most impressed by was that the place was absolutely spotless.

Very nice room and a comfortable bed and shower. James, the owner, is friendly and helpful (he checked if the cable way to table mountain was open (because of heavy winds) and if a certain museum was open (because of public holiday), dropped me off at the Waterfront, as he had to go there as well, and arranged a taxi/shuttle service.
