    The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed. We were anxious that we weren't going to have a place to stay s... what people say » ince it was 2300 hrs when we arrived, but he didn't hesitate to open the gate to let us in. The staff there, servers, cook and office assistant, There - We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!

    Marco was very professional and polite. He made me feel welcomed, even offering free beers! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to order and was very fresh and high quality, like cage-free eggs. The ambiance and decor was exceptional. I felt more like staying at a friend's house as a welcomed guest than just a ho... what people say » tel resident. The location was not too far from most of the sights of interest to tourists. - Perfect stay for my recent business trip. Secure and easy access to come and go as I please and a perfect location for a early morning jog before a delicious breakfast. Friendly, helpful owners, great room and lots of attention to detail. Also has a homely feel, instead of clinical hotel. Everything I needed and more. Thanks!

    I liked the way staff go out of their way to help with relevant information. That made our stay a very comfortable one. Next time I visit Cape Town I will we consider staying with the Sweet Lemon B&B. One thing though you should provide lemons for tea. - I loved the smell of the wood fire in the afternoons and evenings, the hot water bottle ... what people say » in my bed and the comfort of the room. I loved the décor, it is very African-inspired and also has a beautiful farm house feel with the added luxuries.
