  Friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. Got very special treatment (Hedre Badenhorst) when accidently found out that it was my husbands birthday - did not expect it from a city hotel! Overall great location, close to Sandton City for shopping. Price good compared to other hotels in area. Also good security system - felt safe. Will recommend a... what people say » nd defintily stay there again. - The hotel is clean and comfortable. Both the bar and the room service is very good. But the best thing about this hotel is because of the team that is very helpful and proactive. My wife and I just got married and when we returned from a walk, the manager Bettina had left the room filled with rose petals, chocolates and bath items. We love it!

People were on the streets, not homeless people just seemingly 'aimless' people. And it was - We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.
