The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. The bed is big, the bathroom pleasantly large with a great shower, and there is a small flatscreen tv and table with chairs. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and.

They arranged tours for us as well as booking reservations for us in local restaurants. The staff were just incredible and so friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested. We had difficulty with our air conditioner and we advise. The staff were excellent and very helpful. They helped us find restaurants, ring taxis and even got a refund from a taxi company that over-charged. The hotel is very pretty. I enjoyed being about to sit in the hotel reception and have a glass of Russian champagne as well as have meetings. The rooms were lovely and to a very high standard. They opened the windows in our rooms for us then (you need a key for that). After that, temperature in room was really pleasant. I would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend the hotel. My two glasses in the bathroom were not replaced every day. So I drank out of dirty glasses for 5 days. Sometimes I could feel the difference between the cleaning staff. One day the room was perfectly cleaned the other one it was in a bit worse conditions - just well cleaned. Would be nice to have kettle in the room. On the one cold day the air con was not sufficient to warm the room. Blankets were too small for a double bed - next time I would opt for twin beds. No pool/gym. The location is bit far from the metro station and even further from the bus stop. Traveling with small kids and taking into consideration huge traffic gams during the weekend this may be slightly inconvenient for small kids without strollers. There were some problems with supply of hot water in the shower - either the water was to hot or to cold. registration fee. may be the menu can have some more variety. Breakfast is an area of improvement. Location ok, but not really in the center. No coffee maker in room. The hotel has cracks everywhere. I was afraid the building would collapse. The location is far from the center of town. not enough vegeterian dishes. Too many extras, with impressive extra charges for everything, starting from tea (no tea facilities in the room, one cup is Rb 165 = EUR4) to registration to police (c.a. EUR5, free elsewhere in the city). The breakfast is an area for a radical improvement - not what one would expect in a 4 star hotel, but rather something between 2 and 3. Very poor buffet breakfast.
