  What makes hotel cosmos a great choice for a stay in Moscow is a combination of three things. Firstly the location is great for travelling to the centre because the metro is only 5 mins from the hotel. Secondly, whilst the rooms are basic, the hotel has many facilities. Many of the multiple restaurants are open 24/7, there is a gym and many souven... what people say » ir shops within the hotel. Thirdly, Cosmos is quite cheap. Rooms are of a decent size and although a bit old fashioned now are still perfectly functio - Excellent location, within a short walk from the metro station and All-Russian Exhibition Center, which was the main reason to choose this hotel. The room facilities were a bit tired, but for me it was not an issue. The bed was OK, it was not cold in the room and hot water was available at all times. We stayed there for our honeymoon and all was perfectly arranged , even without telling that we got married they noticed and they made extra arrangements for us , just a perfect place to be and made our day even more special - It's so nice to stay in a place full of history.   Everything was great as usual. I stay in this hotel every time I travel through Moscow to Europe. Staff is very helpfull and friendly, rooms are clean and have big space, rooms also have slippers and bathrobes which is quite important for the comfort in general. I was positively surprised about this nice hotel, its renovated and refurbished incl rooms, restaurant and reception. Rooms and bathroom are modern, space is OK and its quiet. Restaurant was not overwhelming but OK. you can walk or take a shuttle to the terminals.
