  The hotel was in a great position near the metro station. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The couple serving breakfast were great, offered coffee and food even after breakfast had finished. The guys on the desk at the door were very friendly and it was an added comfort knowing they were there.   I liked everything. It's been my 3rd stay at Zvezdnaya and, hopefully,not last. For such a moderate price, I always get surprised by a good quality of service at the hotel.   Breakfast was really good! Apartment was clear. There wasn't any smoke in the room. Location is convenient as it is situated near the center of Moscow! 5 minutes max on foot took to get to the tube! There wasn't any noise.   As soon as I arrived, the receptionist (who helped me) spoke very good english and showed me my room. This made me feel at home straight away, as my russian is beginner level and quite poor. Very friendly and smiling person, I won't forget her, a pleasure to deal with. The Rooms are in two separate apartments. Mine was in the one across the road ... what people say » from the main reception. There was also a man who spoke enough english to talk with, and a woman who spoke Russian (but this is not a problem, as s - rather clean room, good and clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, no-fry rule for the kitchen=no smell, friendly staff, willing to help and keep you in the room a little longer than 12^00 (if needed)

  The hotel is very central. Only 3 or 4min walking to the red square. Initially I was not a big fan of this kind of shared places but there I really changed my mind. I stayed first for 1 night to try and I came back later for more days. Staff is friendly, helpful, they offer free breakfast and dinner everyday. Very clean. Very very comfortable bed!... what people say » You feel very secure. When I was there they were trying to improve every day something (towels, shelves, ...). Best quality/price in Moscow. - Clean, nice and cozy place. They include breakfasts, dinners and using washing mashine to the price. Very welcoming and helpful staff.
