Housed in a charming house built in authentic Transylvanian style from 1880, Guesthouse Rustic is located in the picturesque village Talmacel, surrounded by mountains. The Marginimea Sibiului is an area that is rich in agrarian tradition, distinguished by its unique lifestyle – come and discover the farm activities. The recently renovated guest house offers rooms with cable TV and a private bathroom. Some are equipped with a balcony and are in a separate building. Traditional Romanian dishes are served in the dining room, which is located in the arched basement and seats up to 14 people. It is an ideal place to spend the hot summer days. An larger additional restaurant invites you to also enjoy traditional Romanian dishes. The wooden girders and traditional decoration will take you back in time.

This place was wonderfull choice. Family ran hotel with very nice atmosphere and excellent owners, who are available to your service anytime. No problem to deliver and collect you at train station in Talmaciu. Place is excellent point to set a camp for exploration of surrounding - which is worth to see. You are not far from city of Sibiu neither from Transfagaras,etc. We enjoyed the behavior of owner, unexpectably rich breakfasts, coffe and beer anytime, home made dinners. Guesthouse has beauti.

Good wireless connection. If you are by car it is easy to reach Sibiu, Sighisoara, Medias in a day trip. Gazde foarte primitoare si care incearca sa rezolve cat mai bine orice dorinta - am apreciat in mod desoebit dorinta de a anticipa asteptarile oaspetilor -, mic dejun si mese foarte bune cu produse organic. Comfortable inn in Romanian countryside, incredibly nice staff, homemade cheese, bread and spirits - all very good, very tasty dinner - ready in 30 minutes after asked about (without further notice), beautiful view on village and surrounding mountains - we loved it there and we can recommend it to anyone! :). We stayed one night. Had a wonderful homemade breakfast in the morning. The owners are very friendly and they make their best in making your staying comfortable. The old house is very charming. Worth overnighting at least once there. I know we will be back for sure. I definitely recommend this accommodation. Very nice, hospitable hosts. Rooms nice, clean. Delicious cuisine. Hand – made breakfasts. You can also order dinner. We ate vegetable soup with beef & hand-made bread – VERY TASTY!. Nice location in quiet village close (by car) to Sibiu. Staff was very helpful and friendly, you could feel like at home. Food was good and authentic. Location quite in the middle of the old village of Talmacel Original Transylvanian courtyard, with a pool for children. An idilic place, cosy and quiet in a charming village surrounded by peaceful landscapes. Most delightful hosts. Beautiful little village, very nice and clean rooms, food is delicious and the owners are so friendly!. Food was excellent. The place is perfect for a relaxing holyday in countryside. From A till Z good!! If everything good in 3-4 weeks i'm again there. Great location, friendly staff and great breakfast. The owners do everything possible to be a pleasant stay. Whatever it was it was overridden by the goodwill of the owners. Orice mic discomfort a fost rezolvat rapid prin amabilitatea gazdelor. The site has to be updated with the modern rooms also. Norhing!. Not all the rooms had window mosquito netting. Some bad odor from the bathrooms. Nothing really, everything was just perfect. Nothing. None. No problems !. Furniture seams cheap. Breakfast not included. 5 Eur/pers additional cost. The villa is just next to a church and the bells are ringing at 7 AM. Strange smell. Bed not so confortable. The view in the booking pictures is only for few rooms. We didn't had one of them. 23 km to Sibiu.
