Beautiful wooden floors and south-facing windows create a warm ambiance. The restaurant serves traditional Romanian specialties in the elegant dining room which opens up into the garden with its large windows. Various drinks can be enjoyed at the bar or in front of the fireplace. Ermitage Villa overlooks the commemorative Heroes’ Cross, nearby Caraiman Peak. Guests can ski in the Bucegi mountains in winter and explore the numerous hiking trails in summer.

Stayed for 5 days. Great view of the mountains, you can see the cross on the mountain from the villa. The owner is very friendly, had great advice for daily trips. Lovely food, morning, lunch and dinner, I recommend the sarmale(stuffed cabbage) and papanas(local doughnut with jam). Clean, newly furnished, great air, plenty of parking. The family atmosphere, extremely nice Mother and Son, the location - there are no words to express it, the parking lot right by the Villa, the room facilities - luxury in every inch, the restaurant and the way the breakfast was served - splendid world standard. The only thing they lack was the sea, but instead they have mountains where I cried just to think that I drove there on my own and brought my Mom to make her . Everything! The rooms were not very large, but as we didn't stay a lot inside, we didn't care. The bathroom with a shower was very clean, and quite big. The owners were very friendly, and forthcoming. The called someone to do a trip with us, with a 4x4 car, so although we stayed there for only one day, we could see a lot of nice landmarks. The villa also has it's own restaurant where they serve a large variety of dishes. I liked the location, the design and the attention for detail of the interior and exterior, the cleanliness but we liked the most the hospitality of the owners that went over their job to make us comfortable and really like part of their family. The owners and the lady at the tables were very kind, doing their best for us. The room was very nice, though not big, with a nice view - we could see the mountains from the balcony. Breakfast was good, though was not large. Large and very comfortable bedroom, with nice balcony. Excellent view on the mountains and quiet location, 10/15min walk to the cable car station. Noise insulation could be improved, perhaps placing some insulation on the doors, inside the rooms - we could hear various noises from other rooms, noisy sex (I don't understand these people...) or children crying. Also shower water pressure was too small. No big deal but the Wifi connexion did not work in our bedroom. Bathroom door did not close properly. Wi-Fi signal not available in room (but good and free in common spaces). Most annoying, paying extra milk or juice for breakfast (but very tasty continental breakfast, with excellent cofee). The hotel is very close to Caraiman Monastery, on Sunday was a little bit crowded. Don't have dislikes. breakfast could be improved. Car parking too small. Nothing. All was wonderfull. Although I did admire the skilled "up-selling" it was a bit O.T.T. making the cost of dining rather more expensive than expected. Similarly I found it most unusual that items such as an additional coffee at breakfast was charged for. But I suppose everyone needs to use their skills to earn a living. The staff was very unaccommodating to a booking error(payment) they made. Instead of fixing the problem they blamed the guest. The guests had to stay at a different resort. The closet was made from unfinished wood and cannot be used. We was charged for an extra cup of tea at the breakfast. They provide a different room that we booked because they have only 2 double bed rooms and were already "occupied". Amazing start of a honey moon. Excuses don't fix problems. Very poor breakfast (no buffet). Poor breakfast. No minibar in the room.
