A gem! So much more than I could have imagined. I picked the location because I could walk from the train station, but, within minuets was made to feel at home, even given free access to the downstairs dinning area with, snacks, a microwave, tea, fruit and was made a hot cup of cappuccino! (after a 12 hour train ride that was just what just what I needed) The rooms are a cross between, The El Cortez Cabana sweets and a rustic seaside, which works perfectly blending modern style and comfort. The staffs are very very warm and friendly. I felt I was staying with my family .I picked the location because it's near the train station & ( My Place ) which i figure out it closed cuz it was burned . Very Clean .The breakfast was fantastic, Home made if you know what i mean ! :) Nice Garden for the kids and family . The owner is good photographer you can see his works in the walls,he gave me one , it's in my room wall now ;). Really nice hostel, with the warmth of a familiar house and the confort of a big hotel. Rooms are huge, new, clean and equipped with TV, fridge, and big confortable beds. The house is surrounded by a relaxing beautiful garden. Although it's not near from the center, a taxi to get there costs around one euro. The personal was really kind and the breakfast was wonderfull: varied, good and housemade. The owner and his mother were incredibly kind. We arrived later than anticipated and he was accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable --so much more than we expected for such an inexpensive fee. We will definitely go to Brasov and stay at Pension Gallery again!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!. it's a great family-run hotel which is very close to the center of the city.Rooms are clean and comfortable, have TV，fridge and good view to the mountains. tasty breakfast is served every morning. There are a bakery, two local shops and a drug store near the hotel. You pay when u check out. i found it nice. very clean,comfortable Pension with great,friendly staff.Although not in city centre its only a 5 lei taxi ride away and there is a very good restaurant a few houses away on the same street. We loved that the place was very cute and had a cosy feel. It is perfect to spend a few relaxing days in Brasov. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the food is also delicious. The staffs are very warm and friendly. I felt I was staying at home after a long trip. Though it was a short stay for me, I do recommend you to stay there for a long time also. the FAmily are awesome. very welcoming and very nice people. they loved our dog Charlie the stubborn westie. would stay there in a heart beat and recommend it to everyone. Everything was perfect - location, breakfast .....especially the hospitality of the charming girl with perfect english that made our stay in Brasov really wonderful. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and assist us with our onward journey. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Brasov. Excelents facilities, big rooms, very good breakfast, lot for the car, stuff very usseful and friendly, it is really perfect and close enough to the center. The room was really big and comfortable. Good wi-fi. Very friendly staff, all very aim to please, very clean and neat, a warm atmosphere of a home away from home. I liked the service level and the way they treated the guest like their family member.... All the staff were supperb, specially Attila, who did all he could do to help us. delicious food, nice and speaking english staff, clean, very nice room. The hotel design is really nice, and the reduced number of rooms make the staff attention really close. Good breakfast. Really close to the railway station. We had the same breakfast every morning and although it was very good, we would appreciate some variety. Of course, this recommendation is applicable for longer stay visitors only. Nothing to say maybe just it will be much better if there's Air Condition in the room , shower curtain , increase wirless signal for the rooms upstair . The only cons are the same that most of hostels in Transivania have: it has't got elevator (although you only have to get one floor) and the courtains are not thick enough to make the room dark. No big problems anyway. advertised a Bar in this Pension but not used !!!. Nothing to say except that it is a bit far from the city center (20 min by foot), but if you like short walks it is no problem. There was no telephone in the room. Also, the internet access is not very good in the 2nd floor. I only will recomend to install hairdryer in all bathrooms. WiFi was very weak or non-existent in our room (on the second floor) and I had to go to the first floor to pick up the signal. The owner recognizes this as a problem and told us he had ordered a device to correct this. It had not come in yet but he said that the next time we stay there the WiFi should be strong in all the rooms. Location is 20 minutes walking distance from city centre. We didn't mind, but others might. All was well, so, noting to add here.. The location is not that good if you are tired from being on your feet all the day, but a taxi ride from the city center to the inn costs around 2€... Sure bargain!. A bit far from the main city center, 20 minutes-walk.
